The mixture of music and gameplay has given rise in recent years, a series of video game fun and exciting. This list also appears Ultra Beat Hazard:
version of "enhanced" original Beat Hazard, already available on virtually all digital platforms,

The title developed by Cold Beam Games has landed a few days on the App Store to allow even the owners of the iPhone and iPad saggiarne potential, all equally related to the initial concept to which we have referred a few lines ago, or the ability to affect the action on screen using the music and, specifically, its intensity. Flashes in the night When we launch Beat Hazard Ultra, the software scans the songs in the device (the duration of operation, of course, depends on the amount of your songs in our possession) and then presents a splash screen in which we can choose what music to use and how to grapple with what one of four possible choices: Standard, Survival, Boss Rush and Chill Out the boundary conditions are also several options: you can play with a virtual single stick with auto-fire, or with two stick-style "twin analog shooter," make them stick repositionable or fixed and then adjust the intensity of the video effects, which according to the "strength" of the song lights produce very heated, which can give much to the annoyance view depending on your sensitivity. Once in the game, the gameplay is typical of the genre, therefore, quite similar to the classic Geometry Wars, but with one important difference, namely the variety of events (the number of enemies to their behavior), which derives directly from the selected music, and therefore offers a different experience every time, it never repeats itself. From this point of view it is clear that a repetitive song does not produce particular results, while a song that starts slowly but increases significantly at certain points translates into hostile waves can give us a hard time.

The role of music in Beat Hazard Ultra is therefore the main, and the degree of intensity of the accompaniment sound in many ways determines the difficulty level, which ends with the song. The idea works very well and is supported by the great lighting effects, real stars of the product branded Cold Beam Games, able to produce "bursts" really important but, as mentioned above, can give much discomfort to the eye under to your degree of photosensitivity. Flashes in the night our ship moves across the screen, eliminating enemies more or less large and collect points and power-ups, then turns its weapons to "boss" more or less inspired, usually comprising several "sections" that are destroyed one at a time . Given the nature of "random" pattern of action and in general, are unfortunately missing a few fixed points of the twin analog shooter genre, such as the taboo that, in general, an adversary does not materialize in the corner of the screen where we are. In Hazard Ultra Beat these things happen all too often, which, together with the enormous chaos that is created in certain moments, that make little discernible enemy fire or the occurrence of a spaceship crashing into hostile against which we could. Fortunately, the amount of lives left effectively fulfilling the role of "buffer" from the inevitable sudden deaths that occur for these reasons, together with the large number of enhancements that can be unlocked every time you successfully complete an internship (and therefore extra lives , multipliers and so on). Solid, entertaining and varied, the game leaves a little 'confused only for the graphics of spaceships, perhaps a bit' too simple and basic compared to the overwhelming spectacle of special effects.
